Inspiration.

Today in Styling class we were discussing point of inspiration, and were asked to create inspiration files of anything that inspires us. This got me thinking, what does inspire me? I really cant put a finger on why exactly I get up in the morning and do what I do. So I have spent all night looking at different photographers portfolios looking for inspiring pictures, and found a few, which I will post, but it made me think that I find my friends incredibly inspiring. So, to all my readers. I want to know what inspires you! leave me a comment below with a story, a photo, or a link to something. Anything you wanna share that you find inspiring. I really really want to hear from you so do leave a comment!

The Green Hornet

K, So, this morning I was watching The Green Hornet, and I realized, while it was a great movie and all (on like... a completely face value), I cant believe I haven't heard anything about how blatantly it rips off other (and frankly much better) super heroes. So lets count the connections shall we?

Seth Rogan plays Britt Reid. A wild, party animal not living up to his potential (strike one: Green Lantern), when his father dies leaving him the family business ( Strike Two: Green Lantern). So, Britt goes to work for this family business as a news journalist, (Strike Three: Clark Kent for Superman), and actually uses the paper to promote his character, research crime, and generally just warp it to his advantage (Strike 4: Superman OR Spiderman) all while working behind the scenes as a Superhero. The catch being that he has no discernible talents himself, and uses his fortune to hire his help to make him gadgets and gizmos for him to use against the criminals (Strike Five: Batman). The catch is that everyone thinks the Green Hornet is a criminal (Strike Six: Spiderman). The Green Hornet named himself after the animal that killed his father (Strike Seven: Batman) and lets face it everyone, there's obvious similarities between the names Green Hornet and The Green Lantern, that I don't think I really need to point out here.

So I think we can also all see where my Top Ten List is coming from this week. So here it is.

Taboo Topic! You Have Been Warned!

So today I have been inspired to write about sex. Taboo topic I know right??

BUT this is what I think. Like.....98% of the world has had sex. Whether your old, you, fat or thin, everyone has sex. so why is there so much hullabaloo about talking about it?

Take today for example. I was at the Taboo Sex Show in Vancouver with my friend, her boyfriend and her cousin, and My friend and her boyfriend were being so awkward about all the toys and gear and everything and I just don't understand why! Especially since the two of them (presumably) have sex!! Like I mean sex is the reason we are all on the planet anyways! I eventually ended up splitting the two of them up, me and the boyfriend going off together, and my friend and her cousin going off. and purchases were definitely made while they were separated, and they were fine telling each other about them after, but didn't want each other to see the other buying these things? I dunno. It doesn't make sense.

In other news. My apartment is still covered in glitter from my now infamous glitter pants. I have no clue how to stop the shedding of the glitter, or how to successfully clean up all the glitter from every cranny of my apartment. Dsquared. Please come clean my house.
